Service Description
Intro to Wheel Throwing covers the basics of wheel throwing and concludes in one glazing session. Students will learn how to center, open, and pull a form on the wheel, as well as learn simple glazing techniques. Adults of all different backgrounds and abilities are welcome to join, and no previous clay experience is necessary. All materials will be provided by the studio. Classes take place on Mondays from 6:30pm-9:00pm Open studio time will be offered on Fridays from 2:00pm-5:00pm *open studio time is not instructor led, it is time for students to work on their own. Instructor Bio: Heidi is a working artist who has 8 years of wheel throwing experience. She graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in Studio Art and currently works at the School of Visual Arts.
