Sunday Mornings All Level Wheel Throwing

Service Description

This 6 week class is for all levels, with or without knowledge of wheel throwing. In this class we will reinforce the fundamentals of working on a potter's wheel. Sundays from 10:30am-1pm From 3/2/2025 - 4/6/2025 $490 for the 6 week course includes instruction, clay, materials, tools and firings. There are no make-ups for missed classes or extra studio time, unless otherwise specified. Cancelations must be before 2/27/2025 to be eligible for a refund. Bio I’m an artist who works primarily in ceramics because of clay’s history of function and connection to home. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in May 2019 with a BFA in Ceramics and a concentration in Graphic Design. After completing a two year residency at Clay Art Center, I’m now an instructor at doclay, and a studio tech at The Potter’s Wheel and Chambers Pottery. Teaching others how to develop a deeper relationship with clay and art has become an integral part of my artistic process. In my classes, I encourage my students to explore their interests and develop their practice in a way that best makes sense to them. @annychenart
