Keeping it Clean!

What Are the Benefits of Keeping a Clean Studio?

Keeping our ceramics studio clean is essential to how we work and how we care for one another at Bushwick Ceramics. Clay, glaze materials, and dust are part of the process, but when they’re managed thoughtfully, the studio becomes a safer, calmer, and more enjoyable place to create. A clean workspace protects everyone’s health, keeps tools and equipment functioning properly, and allows members to focus on their work without unnecessary distractions. Just as importantly, maintaining a clean studio shows respect—for the materials, the shared space, and the people who use it—helping create an environment where creativity, responsibility, and community can thrive together
